Our festival-goers hit DOGFest ‘17

DevOpsGuys DOG Fest '17

We have all been there.

Summer festivals come along and there you are frantically checking weather updates on the hour, every hour.

DOGFest ’17 was of course no different but luckily the weather was on our side, apart from one small downpour. What’s a true British festival without a bit of rain?

Every summer at DevOpsGuys we host DOG Events for the team and their families. This year DOGFest ’17 took place in Llandow, South Wales, with around 80 attendees. Camping was available onsite along with a weekend schedule full of entertainment that would rival any festival!

The festival goers arrived from midday ready to set up their tents while a bus full of the not-so-brave festival goers arrived shortly after.

Delicious food and fireworks at DOGFest '17

With thanks to our CEO’s wife Non, there was non-stop entertainment from the moment everyone arrived, along with the delicious Meat and Greek and Ffwrnes keeping us all fuelled up for the weekend.

The bucking bronco went down a storm too – the camera/video footage will definitely be resurfacing at the Christmas party!

There was also plenty for the children (and some adults) with a bouncy castle, trampoline, Dixies Vintage Ice Cream and even a treasure chest full of sweets!

To end the night there was an incredible firework display and marshmallows by the fire leaving us all wondering……how one earth can our next DOG event be topped by this one?
